About Me

  • I believe in honoring God with a life devoted to Him and therefore, I strive to walk in the footsteps of Jesus.
  • I Believe in the One God revealed in the Bible and that God is made up of the three beings known as the Father (Creator), Son (Redeemer) and Holy Spirit (Sustainer).  (John 1:1-3; 2 Corinthians 13:13; Matthew 28:19; Acts 5:3-4).
  • I believe the Bible is God’s inspired Word from Genesis to Revelation and that it is infallible.  It gives us direction in life, helps us when confronted with temptation and brings us hope.  The Bible is our guide for everyday living and is the supreme and final authority in doctrine and practice (Isaiah 40:8; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; Hebrews 4:12; 2 Peter 1:20-21).
  • I believe the church is made up of God’s people on earth and that Jesus is the head (Ephesians 1:22-23), and Christians are His body (Galatians 5:23).  Thus, I am not part of a denomination, but part of the body of our Savior.
  • I believe in God's plan for Salvation and according to Scriptures, the Lord says we must believe in the power and person of Jesus Christ (John 3:16), that there is a necessity for us to repent, or change our way of living that is against Jesus (Acts 2:37-38).  Jesus has also asked us to be willing to confess to other people that we are His (Romans 10:9-10) and that God, through the New Testament, also directs us to be immersed, or baptized, into Christ (Romans 6:3-11), at which point, we become part of Christ’s body (Galatians 3:26-27).
  • I believe in the resurrection of the dead at the second coming of Christ (2 Thessalonians 4) and that there are eternal consequences of all individuals, whether it is heaven to be with the Lord forever or hell and be eternally separated from Him (Luke 16:19-31; 2 Corinthians 5:8-10; 1 Corinthians 3:11-15).
  • I believe in New Testament worship which includes singing unaccompanied by musical instruments (Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16-17) and taking the Lord’s Supper every week (Acts 20:7).
  • I believe in the Church's mission to evangelize the world (Mark 16:15-16).
