HOW DO YOU STUDY WITH SOMEONE WHEN THEY REFUSE TO OBEY THE GOSPEL, BESIDES JUST PRAYING FOR THEM?

I have been told that actions always speak louder than words.  Now this may sound like good advise, but I believe it also to be Godly advise.  Jesus said, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16, KJV.  We are charged to show forth the praises of God who has called us out of the darkness and into his marvelous light (1 Pet. 2:9).  Therefore, we are to reflect Jesus’ light.  And, that light is seen and known by means of the shining truth whether taught by words or deeds

Thus, when we let our light shine, remember that your light is the power of your life to influence others.  And remember also that we are to brighten others, not bring gloom and discouragement.  Because, we are to shine for the benefit of others, not for self glory.  We are to shine continually instead of being a flash in the pan because a flash in the pan does more harm than good.

So, when we shine our light before men it is so they will see, not merely speculations about what you do, but let your influence speak for itself through the good works you do.  Let them see your acts of kindness and love and let them see your pure words.  For, Christians are to have an impact on others by our influence.  So, even though you may not be able to teach verbally, you can still teach by setting the example before them because you are bringing honor and glory to God so that others might be encouraged to bring glory to the Father.
