Questions and Answers

Well, first of all, I would never say that they have fallen from Heaven. A leaf will fall from the tree because it has died. And so, it is one thing to see a dead leaf fall, but it is quite another thing to have that leaf ripped away from the tree or pulled off the tree. This is what is was for the angels because, “God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;” (2 Pet. 2:4)
Now, since they were in torment, knowing that all those who were disobedient are also in torment (rich man Lk. 16), we can conclude that angels have no redeemer. Mankind is able to think through and reach a conclusion. However, once angels make a choice to not obey God and submit to his will, they are unrepentant and can never be forgiven.
Christians are grateful that God with his mercy redeems us. He saves us from the bondage of sin because our debt was paid for by Christ. Angels have no one to pay their debt of sin.
